Had a basic driver fitting with Nick on 1/5/2024 to evaluate my current 2 shafts and if there was a better option.
2 things Nick said that stuck with me;
1. Your swing is your swing, that is what its working for you.
2. Base on the numbers, I was already maximizing the driver head I'm using. The rest is just adjustments.
After evaluating my 2 shaft we tried a few others but they were not much better than what mine were producing.
Instead Nick adjusted my loft 1 setting down from 9.0 to 8.5 and that improve my spins rates and carry / total distance.

This is my second fitting with Austin. I am somewhat new to golf. First fitting ( 2022) was with Austin. He recommended updated Driver and continue to play with borrowed iron set friend gave me.....recommended I play a while longer. I returned Dec 2023 for another fitting with Austin for my irons. Great recommendations and consultation with Austin for my skills and needs. Their technology is awesome to help golfers learn more about their swing and equipment needed. After years away from the game I’m a returning good amateur. I had brought an older set of clubs over to Golf Galaxy @ Dicks to get new grips fitted before I went all in on new clubs. When I went to Dicks the employees started making fun of my clubs and laughing at me. The employee had even showed a customer my clubs and they each started laughing at me. So getting back into the game I was scared to ask for help.

That is until today and I met Austin. I was absolutely blown away at his professionalism. He absolutely couldn’t careless about selling me a club that isn’t the best for my specific abilities. We worked on every club. The specificity was amazing.

It hard to believe how knowledgeable the employees here are.
